One Book, One Community is celebrating its 20th year! The longest running community reading program in Canada, “OBOC”, as it is fondly referred to, celebrates books and writings of Canadian authors. Through the shared experience of reading and discussing the same book, OBOC has helped create a special sense of community in the Region over its 20-year span.

Laurier Education Talks lecture series

WPL works closely with Laurier, regularly looking for opportunities to support our community through partnered events and activities. We know that this year has sparked many conversations about education and the ways in which young people experience learning, community connection and well-being. At the same time, we have learned so much about the complexities and opportunities of technology as a means of learning.
